“It Doesn’t Work For Me”

At one point, you didn’t know the rules of the road, the laws. But you were able to learn them, to master them even. You learned how to ride a bicycle and you have the ability to learn how to fly a plane, should you want to.

Saying “it doesn’t work for me” is like saying that the traffic laws don’t work for you. They work. They’re always working. Whether you are going against them or working with them determines your experience out on the roads.

If you don’t abide by them, you will find yourself crashing into things constantly. It would be a painful, death-defying adventure every time you got behind the wheel. It’s why we have to learn the rules, the laws, before we can get a driver’s license. We have to prove that we know how to go with the flow, and we are attesting that we will follow the laws for our own protection and for the well-being of everyone with whom we share the roads.

Why don’t we get this same opportunity when it comes to the laws of the universe? They’re always working yet no one teaches us about them. We never get to a point where we have to take a test about them to show we have mastered them. We just listen to what everyone else says and what they spew becomes our truth.

We have a choice though. We can turn a blind eye to the laws. They are there for you to learn about if you want to. You can open your mind and your heart to a better way to navigate life so you stop crashing into things; stop living in reactionary mode.
You are on the road of life my friends. How you experience it is a choice. Learning about the laws of the universe will significantly improve your ride.
